24th July 2011 Windsurfing: Camber - Jury's Gap Wind Direction: W going SW Wind Stength: 10mph building to 25 :) Surf / Sea State: Flat becoming wavy Air Temperature: Fine Sea Temperature: Fine Weather: Sunny & warm Max Speed: Distance Covered: Classic sea breeze called early by the local Mafiosa backing up my own hunch that Camber would deliver :) Couple of hours on the longboards with me on the 10'5 and Chris on my 9'5 and both of us on 5.7m's .... Chris succumbed first switching the 9'5 for his trusty 89ltr. I carried on for a bit until it had filled in properly and as I switched to my USurf84 Chris changed down to his 4.7m I wasn't convinced and to be fair wanted to see how the USurf worked with my 5.7m ..... Sweeeet :) Probably should have changed down to the 5.0m but was being lazy and used the opportunity to test USurf with the well powered up 5.7m Cracking session, just the two of us out and only a handful of kiters out too, guess noone else thought it worth a punt? |
